My name is Michael Sparling. I work as an artist, originally from Rochester, New York, now residing in Perry, New York
in Wyoming County. My list of talents ranges from cartooning with kids as "Mr. Scribbles" ( participation art ) where by
children make a scribble, and that is transformed into original art; a cartoon or character, to fine art produced with various
media. Cartoon classes are sometimes scheduled in August on Silver Lake at the "Hoag Gallery". Basic drawing classes have been
scheduled in the past through the Arts Council of Wyoming County, and will continue in the future. My most recent endeavor is this
web site for Mr. Scribbles. It is a "kid safe" web site for children and grown ups. It's a great place to participate in, learn and
enjoy art of all kinds.
We have a section devoted to the wonderful, imaginative and creative spirit of Abby " The Faerie Lady " Sparling.
Here you can view photos of original and whimsical faerie and bird houses, built from her person collection of
"shiny" things.
